Due to an issue beyond my control, the contentenhancement.org family of domain names no longer point to my servers at KU. Effective immediately, the services previously found there will be found at stratepedia.org.
The truth is I was planning a move away from the old address anyway. I was worried this exact problem would happen, and, frankly, I never liked the old name anyway. It’s way too long, I always said, but getting a shorter name would either take some serious cash or a bit of imagination. I went with the latter, got no serious objections, and ran with it.
I just didn’t see it happening this soon. My plan was to take my time, get the new site up and running alongside an all-new version of the Content Enhancement Library, a spruced-up version of the Online Learning Labs, and a few other tricks I’ve had up my sleeve for awhile. It was going to be awesome.
But, as a famous British guy once observed, “you can’t always get what you want.” So I’m doing the best I can. Right now I’m waiting for the new names to make their way across the Internet. This is a process that can take a few minutes to a few days depending on where you are. In the meantime I’ll keep this blog updated as new things happen.
I understand that some of you are going to be more directly affected by this than others, and I apologize. I’m getting things migrated as quickly as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to post a comment below (it’s easy!) or send me an e-mail.
Thanks,
Aaron Sumner
