What we’ve been up to
Sorry we’ve been so quiet since the conference, but it’s been a busy month here at Stratepedia HQ. So, what’s new, you ask? Well:
- Cam has been working hard to develop a single sign-on system for the Stratepedia tools. That means no more having to create separate accounts for the Learning Labs, the Library, etc. One account with one username and one password will get you right in to whatever you need. This should be done sometime in the fall.
- Amber is developing a more robust curriculum for the Stratepedia suite. This includes basics on how to use the tools themselves and best practices for integrating them with professional development. The plan is to roll out the curriculum in a variety of formats to suit a variety of learners. Watch for this to begin rolling out in the fall as well.
- Aaron just (finally) took the wraps off of Dossier. It’s still in private, limited testing and evaluation, but we’ll be using it productionally in Arkansas beginning next month. Want in on the evaluation period? e-mail me and we’ll talk!
You may also be interested in joining a new special interest group that started a few weeks ago on the Learning Labs called Video in Professional Development. Lots of good conversation about both content and technology. If you’re interested in how to put video to work in your work, join the group!
