Resource sharing has been totally overhauled in the new Library–you can now add multiple files to a resource (if you have a file in GIST, PDF, and JPG formats, for example), and you can share a resource across multiple groups (say you’re a PDer and have a top-notch example you always want to share–no more adding the same resource a hundred times). See it in action in this video clip.
One thing I forgot to mention in the clip–there’s a problem uploading GIST files in Safari 3.0 (the default version of Safari in Leopard and available as an update for Tiger). This has to do with how Safari handles file types it doesn’t recognize. I’m hoping for a magic cure between now and the end of December, but this one’s kind of out of our hands. You can still use Firefox on a Mac to upload your GIST files, though.
