Say hello to my little friend…

Flip! This cool new video camera is perfect for a quick recording session in the classroom, at a conference, or just to keep around the office.
The Flip Video Camcorder is lightweight and pocket sized. You do not need any tapes or additional memory. It also comes attached to its own USB plug. Just hook this little guy up to the computer and the built-in software will take it from there.
Recording footage with the camera (60 minutes worth) is a breeze as well. Just turn it on, push the big red button, and you’re making movies! Hit the stop button when you are finished and you can review your work right there on the screen. What you see is what you get with Flip, he doesn’t make things too complicated.
Oh, and did I mention that it is pretty cheap? Click here or here to watch a quick demo and compare prices. Flip has friends too. These websites also offer other versions of the Flip Video Camcorder.
Flip and I are planning to collaborate on some pretty big projects in the future, so check back soon to see what we come up with.

Hi, Flip!
David Pogue, tech reviewer for the New York Times, wrote a glowing review of the Flip a week or two ago. I must admit I was one of those people who dismissed it when I checked one out at Costco last year. (Also of note in this article: Check out the second page where Pogue is talking about the invention of Graffiti, the Palm alphabet, and why it was a hit.)
