Flip visits Kansas City

Remember Flip? He, along with Aaron and myself, attended the 30th Annual SIM International Conference two weeks ago. He had fun and got to interview a lot of great people. In order to test Flip out, I asked participants at the conference a simple question and compiled the answers in this five minute video. I tended to grab people in the lobby or hallways, which also happened to be the noisiest possible places to conduct an interview. Flip could have used a mic and I apologize for all of the background noise, but just think about the possibilities this little guy offers in a quieter setting.

How fun, Amber! This is great–and the background noise just brings in the real conference “atmosphere,” don’t you think? Thanks for sharing.

Wow Amber. What a great way to remember the wonderful week. Thanks for making the effort to create this.

I love the video. Yes, it is very cool, but I don’t recall meeting Flip. Was this a little Flip camera? I have a very small video camera, but there is no place to plug in a microphone. Does Flip have an audio input?

Nice work! Love the video and I completely agree with everyone. I loved the whole conference - Fullan, Palinscar, the banquet, Don’s address, all the people, etc., etc.

@Sue: Flip does not have an audio input, which is why there is a lot of background noise in this video. However, the new version of Flip has an improved built-in microphone and a tripod mount. Our version does not have that.
