Use the tagging feature in Depot to quickly locate and organize your resources.
Once you’ve uploaded a resource, add a few keywords to your description make it easier for others to find. If you’ve got several organizers that are all related, assigning them the same keyword will allow them to show up together. When you are finished, click Save Resource information.

You can also edit your own existing resources by clicking the edit button on the right side and then add tags.

A few weeks ago, we hosted two similar Depot webinars to serve as a refresher for Depot members. You can now view the recorded sessions in the archives on Stratepedia’s webinar site.
Depot (re)introduction
Aaron – Monday, Feb. 1
Amber – Thursday, Feb. 4
In the sessions we also mention the Depot Introduction Handout which is available here if you don’t already have it.
In light of the current Depot activity, here are a few reminders to make the document-sharing process as easy as possible on Depot.
1. Don’t forget that if you migrated from the older version of Depot (Content Enhancement Library) your login name will be your whole email address. If you need help getting signed in, or even signed up with a new account, email us at help@stratepedia.org.
2. Here’s how to create a PDF on a Mac.
3. We love to see your work uploaded to Depot. GIST, PowerPoint, PDF, and even Excel files all work great. You can also share multiple versions of the same document. Don’t be afraid to show us what you’ve got! Check out the Depot Guidebook for more information.

Aaron and I will be hosting two Depot webinars the first week of February. Both webinars will cover the same content related to utilizing the basic features of Depot, such as sharing and downloading organizers.

I think my server updates are complete. There was a little more to be done than I expected, so please let me know if you see anything odd (particularly with Depot, Dossier, or Coaching Calendar).
As a new school year unfolds, I know many of you are visiting Stratepedia for the first time in a few months. If you’ve forgotten your passwords over summer break, don’t worry! All the Stratepedia apps have an easy-to-use password reset feature. From our Guidebooks:
I no longer use the e-mail address I used to register. Can I still access my account?
Yes, but you’ll have to contact us. Send us an e-mail including your name, your old e-mail address, your new e-mail address, and which Stratepedia service(s) you need to update.

Yesterday morning at 10:01 central time, Rich J. became the 3,000th member of Depot, Stratepedia’s service for sharing Content Enhancement devices! I knew this milestone was close and have been keeping an eye on it. Here are a few other statistics, just for fun:
- We currently have 1,480 total examples in Depot.
- Of those, 871 are shared in the public folder.
- 14,891 downloads have been registered (this does not count earlier downloads from the Content Enhancement Library).
- 91 groups have been created.
Thanks to everyone who makes Depot what it is, and keep watching for more improvements in the future.

Depot will be moved to a new server this weekend and will be unavailable for up to a couple of hours this coming Saturday, May 23, beginning around 10:00 AM CDT. All other Stratepedia services will remain online during that time.
If you have questions or concerns about this, please let me know as soon as possible via a comment below, via Stratepedia’s Twitter account, or good old e-mail (help@stratepedia.org).
We’ve been thinking about doing another instructional webinar, this time demonstrating how to do certain tasks in Depot. We’ll probably roll this out within the month, but first we need to decide on a topic. This is where you come in: What tasks would you like to see demonstrated in Depot? We’ll take anything! If the suggestions are broad enough, we might split it into two separate webinars.
Just jot down a few ideas in the blank text box below and your answers will be viewable only by me (Amber) thanks to GoogleDocs.
Thank you for your input!
